Morning Update: Double Night
Thursday morning. Board unchanged. Tonight is the locked double. Barrett, Melody, and Taylor still sit. Blockbuster first, then a week in a night. Nobody evicted yet.

Thursday morning, September 17. Yes. Tonight is the double. Two hours, live, 8/7c. The board has not moved since Monday, three people still sit, and nobody has been evicted this week. That changes tonight. Twice, if the show keeps its word.
The board, Week 10. HOH: Yash Patel. Veto: Drew Campbell — used, on himself, off the block, still wearing the medal. Final noms: Barrett Pfeiffer, Melody Morris, Taylor Brown. Seven remain. Jury continues — LaTrice is there, Angela is walking in. Haley stays ❌. FAP is still three: Drew, Barrett, Melody. Two of them still sit. Icons Dee Valladares and Rick Devens are not on this block. Barrett, Melody, and Taylor play Blockbuster first. No winner exists yet. Don't invent one.
What you already have. Tuesday night is Evening Update: The Pitch — Barrett pitched Devens a zero-dollar bribe and a shield, and Devens said he'd think about it. Monday afternoon is Afternoon Update: Taylor Sits. The ceremony has a note. We're not rebuilding it. Sword talk stays talk.
Wednesday daytime. Wakeup at 9:39. Quiet start. Around 12:03, Melody takes the house phone into the gym and calls her mom, crying: if she doesn't win Blockbuster tomorrow, she's fucked. She does not want to leave. At 12:11 she hangs up, lies down, wipes tears. That's texture and her own sentence. Not a vote.
The double talk starts early — and this is house talk. Nobody in there has a CBS lock in their mouths yet. At 1:21, Taylor tells Dee (who is showering) they need a plan for the Double because it moves too fast for the little 10-minute talks. Dee suggests figuring it out when one of them goes up to the HOH to listen to music. File that as their plan-to-plan. Not a slate. At 1:29, Taylor says the main two votes are Dee and Devens and they're pissed at Barrett. Melody: Barrett is such a big fan, he knows it's game. Dee: she'll be his friend for sure. Votes are talk until they're votes.
At 2:00, Drew and Devens in the have-not room. Drew: if it's a double, what's your plan, does it align, am I the target? Devens: I don't think so. Drew wants the same page. Devens agrees. Feeds cut. We don't get the rest of the sentence, so neither do you.
At 2:23, Drew tells Barrett he'll vote to keep him. Barrett: do what you have to do. Drew wants F2 chairs with Barrett — "middlemen season," not the Icons or Yash's revenge. That's a gym speech, not a vote lock. At 2:36, Drew says he'll go nuts if Barrett wins Blockbuster. Barrett says he'll try his best, and if Melody wins instead, he'd give a killer speech, sprint out, say one thing. His exit fantasy. Not an eviction. At 2:42, Barrett says Yash had no other choices but to nominate them. That's Barrett's bribe math, not a rulebook.
At 3:58, nominee suitcases appear in storage. There's your picture. At 4:11, Drew asks Yash if it'd be weird if he voted out Melody. Yash: tell them you want to be on the right side. Talk. At 4:20, Devens camtalks: first eviction, he's with the culture, vote Barrett. If Barrett wins Blockbuster, he votes Melody. If he wins HOH in the DE, he'd nominate Barrett and Drew. His sentence, labeled as such. Not next week's board. At 4:36: he has to win at least one HOH tomorrow, Dee-vens squad. He's assuming a double. America gets the lock later on TV.
Wednesday TV, ~5:51–6:59. America's catch-up: Pressure Cooker, family videos, veto meeting. On feeds at 6:03, during the episode, three packed suitcases sit next to Taylor in storage. Jordan almonds. At 6:56, TV shows Drew using the veto on himself and the episode says Yash has only 1 choice before placing Taylor. That's the episode's sentence — the bribe stays the bribe. Then 6:59, the close: double eviction tomorrow night. Last night's television telling America about tonight. That's the lock. Two hours, 8/7c, live Blockbuster, first eviction, then a week's game crammed into one night, down to five. We don't know the second-half comps and we're not guessing.
After the show. At 7:41, Yash to Dee: if Barrett is gone, it's all of us against Drew — win the DE HOH, keep noms the same. Their plan, if. Not a result. At 8:12, Devens runs his math: if Barrett wins Blockbuster, Taylor and Yash control the vote and would cut Drew, so we throw up Taylor and Barrett. Labeled talk. Nobody has locked a second-half slate.
At 11:32, Barrett wants the waiting period to go by quick. Melody says the Blockbuster is going in her burn book. Drew plans to wait it out in the living room with his best friends. At 11:55, have-nots end. Midnight feast. Devens to Barrett: it was a pleasure to be a have-not with you. Three weeks. Drew: you are warriors. Dee and Yash are already asleep.
Overnight. Quiet. At 12:57, Melody and Drew hug in a doorway and she goes to bed. Texture. Moving on. At 1:18, Devens leaves the have-not room toward the kitchen. Lights out. That's the last public receipt.
So: three still sit. Blockbuster first. Then the rest of the night eats people. Nothing has been evicted this week. Something will be. Twice, if the show delivers what it promised at 6:59 last night.
