Evening Update: Pissed He Won It

Sunday after the swords. Melody said congrats and went back to bed, then said she's pissed Drew won it. He still sits. Veto unused. Ceremony is Monday.

Sunday in the house after the overnight veto. Drew Campbell won the Pressure Cooker at 2:48 AM and the house has spent the daylight hours processing that. Melody Morris has processed it out loud. The veto has not been used. The ceremony is Monday. Everything else today is fallout.

The board, Week 10: Yash Patel is HOH. Nominations are Barrett Pfeiffer, Drew Campbell, and Melody Morris — the whole FAP, still. Drew holds the veto. Unused. He still sits. Nobody evicted this week. Seven remain. LaTrice is in jury; Angela is walking in. Haley stays ❌. Two Icons left: Dee Valladares and Rick Devens. Thursday is a locked double. Unless the veto is used, three still play Blockbuster for the last chair.

Last night's note is Evening Update: Drew Has the Veto. Drew lasted. Yash's needle popped at 2:48 AM. The sword talk is already filed as talk, not a contract. That's it — moving on.

Sleep first, feelings later

The immediate aftermath was short. At 3:05, Yash tells Dee he's sleeping all day, he did not have to pee, and he's annoyed he went that far. Dee tells him to hydrate and says he crushed it — while washing her hands, because he's sick. At 3:06, Barrett yells "way to go to you" from the have-not bed. At 3:12, Devens tells Barrett he went five to six hours more. Barrett: it was fun. Devens: fun to watch on TV. Barrett says Andrew will know the comp did not go in vain. Lights out at 4:05.

"BIG BROTHER" at 9:33. Feeds return at 9:53: Drew alone in the backyard, have-not room still sleepy. By 10:10 he's doing laps. At 10:40, the feeds return to Melody crying in the backyard while Devens stands in the kitchen. That's the image. She didn't narrate it, so neither will this note.

At 10:50, Drew and Devens go over the veto and the moment Yash lost. At 10:59, Drew tells Dee he wants one of them to win. Then the version you actually needed: at 11:48, Melody and Yash in the kitchen. They woke her up when Drew won. She said congrats and went back to bed. She could not deal with it right then. Yash apologizes — he could have pulled through. Melody: it's fine, it's Big Brother. Congrats, then bed, then a backyard cry. That's the arc.

Rage baiter, rock, and the line

The 12 PM hour is the group autopsy. At 12:26, Taylor asks what they were talking about when Barrett left, and reenacts Drew's body movements. Yash says Drew was annoying him — a rage baiter. At 12:27, Drew agrees: he was trying to piss people off, and also keep himself entertained. At 12:30, Drew returns the compliment. Yash was a rock, looked unfazed, neither of them was going anywhere, and it could have gone to morning. At 12:32, Taylor asks who started the sword conversation. Yash thinks Drew did.

Then, at 12:51, Melody: "I'm so pissed off he won the veto. If I leave before him, I will be so pissed off." Third person, about Drew, her own alliance member and fellow nominee. It's a feeling, not a vote lock. But it's a loud feeling.

By 1:06 she's disappointed in herself — got distracted, tried to adjust something, "you guys were talking," dropped the sword, could have stayed longer. At 1:09, Devens and Dee do their own kitchen read: Melody said she was crushing it, would smoke another cast, didn't even congratulate her ally. That's their read. Label it accordingly.

The 2:04 family videos are texture, not plot. Melody feels something is wrong with her mom and the message made her more anxious. Dee is sad seeing everyone's families. Drew is glad his was unserious — dog, hairbrush. At 4:39, the kitchen does comp-body inventory: calves, 12.5 hours, Drew falling asleep during the stand, Barrett bent over hurting.

Hot tub math, labeled as talk

At 5:27, Drew and Devens on the hot tub couch. Devens calls him a top 6 dog. Drew notes he can't sit out anymore — he has the veto. At 5:29, Devens says Barrett is the favorite at the Blockbuster and the target, and tells Drew you vote Melody over Barrett. Drew: "I don't know probably." That's the quote. That's not a vote.

Drew floats that four of the top 6 could be Dapper Dans. Devens: if we tried to do it, it would not have happened. At 5:33, Devens admits he doesn't know where everyone stands at F6 and has no idea what he'd do as HOH. Drew crosses fingers for Yash and Taylor. Meanwhile at 5:30, Melody wonders how the game would be different if they'd gotten Drew out instead of Mallory, and at 5:34 Barrett says Melody could kick some ass in the Blockbuster. Talk, all of it.

The Sunday show is television, not news

Around 6 PM, the episode recaps Week 10: cacti, cowboy hats, Yash filling his tube in 11 minutes 33 seconds, and Friday's nomination keys — Barrett, Melody, Drew. Show closes at 6:48. That's TV catching up to Friday. It is not a new ceremony and it is not the veto meeting.
