Afternoon Update: Taylor Sits

Monday afternoon, and the Week 10 veto meeting is done. You didn't see it. Feeds went to pets and stayed there while the house did the ceremony off camera. The result came back anyway: Drew Campbell used the Power of Veto on himself. Yash Patel named Taylor Brown the replacement. Taylor sits.

The board, patched: Week 10. Yash is HOH. Drew won the veto, used it, on himself — he's off the block and still wearing the medal. Final nominations: Barrett Pfeiffer, Melody Morris, Taylor Brown. Nobody has been evicted this week. Seven remain. Jury continues — LaTrice is already there, Angela is walking in. Haley stays ❌. FAP is still three people — Drew, Barrett, Melody — and two of them still sit. The two remaining Icons, Dee Valladares and Rick Devens, are not on this block. Thursday is a locked double, and three still play Blockbuster for the last chair: Barrett, Melody, Taylor.

What you already have: Sunday night's note is Evening Update: Pissed He Won It. Melody said congrats, went back to bed, then said she was pissed Drew won it. The win itself is filed at Evening Update: Drew Has the Veto. The sword talk is already filed as talk, not a contract, and it stays that way.

The wait. 12:35, feeds down, pets. 1:38, still pets. Over an hour of animals for a ceremony you will never see. Whatever was said in that room stays in that room.

The public lock, while the feeds were still dark. Big Brother Buzz at 1:57: Drew used the Power of Veto on himself, Yash named Taylor the replacement nominee, final nominees Barrett, Melody, and Taylor heading into Thursday. BB Live Updaters posted the same use and renom later, with their own line attached: Taylor was the only choice because Yash can't nominate Dee and Devens due to the BB Bribe. That's their sentence. File it as their sentence. Barrett will say a version of the same math after feeds return, and Drew and Dee will argue about it — labeled below.

Feeds return around 2:00. Drew playing pool alone. The house sorts itself out fast.

2:05 — Melody tells Barrett she cried herself to sleep. Texture, not a speech. 2:06 — Yash: F the Blockbuster. Melody: be gone.

2:10 — Yash asks who the F Drew has. Barrett: I do not think Drew has anyone. Melody: Drew does not have me or Barrett — have you seen the way Drew has been talking to me. That's talk. It stays talk.

2:14 — Yash to Melody and Barrett: I am sorry I put you guys up, I just wanted to get Drew out. Barrett: we understand, you only had Taylor and the bribe. That's Barrett's math, in Barrett's mouth. It matches the Updaters' line, which doesn't make either one a rulebook.

2:19 — Drew, separately: this week it is still true because of the bribe. Dee: Yash had options this week. Two sentences, two speakers, no ruling from here.

2:19 — Dee: let me see if Taylor is alright and wants food. 2:20 — Dee finds Taylor in the pod, under a blanket. You will be okay. It sucks being on the block. It will be okay. Taylor says no thank you to the food. That's the house lock. She sits.

2:54 — Drew invites Yash to cutthroat. Yash says no. Feeds cut. Not load-bearing.

Where that leaves Thursday. Drew used it on himself, which is the whole reason vetoes exist. Taylor sits. Barrett and Melody still sit — two-thirds of FAP on the same block, again, which is what Evening Update: FAP Sits was about before Drew pulled himself off it. Blockbuster is Thursday, three play, one comes down, and then the double starts eating people. Nothing has been evicted yet. Something will be.
