Evening Update: Down to Five

Thursday night. Double done. Melody won Blockbuster and HOH. Barrett evicted 3–1. Devens used veto on himself; Yash sat and went 2–1. Five remain. No Week 11 HOH yet.

Thursday night, September 17. The double is done. Barrett Pfeiffer walks out first, 3–1, without hugging a single person. Yash Patel follows, 2–1, with hugs. Seven at the open. Five when the feeds come back.

The board, patched. Week 10. Double complete. Melody Morris has the key — last Blockbuster of the season, then HOH. Rick Devens won the live veto and used it on himself. Dee Valladares sat the second vote and stayed. Barrett and Yash are ❌, walking into jury where LaTrice and Angela are already waiting. Haley stays ❌. Five remain: Melody, Drew Campbell, Taylor Brown, Devens, Dee. FAP was three — Drew, Barrett, Melody — and Barrett just left. Do that math yourself. Both Icons are still standing. Week 11 HOH has not been played.

What you already have. This morning is Morning Update: Double Night. Three sat. Tonight was the lock. Tuesday is Evening Update: The Pitch. Monday is Afternoon Update: Taylor Sits. Sword talk stays talk. The bribe stays the bribe.

First half: the bolt. Show open at 5:00. EP#35. Julie, to America: two evictions, two people trade the house for jury.

Blockbuster, 5:36 to 5:41. Crash Site Cover Up — Melody versus Barrett versus Taylor, balls down a curved ramp into a hole. First to five. At 5:41 Melody lands the fifth. Julie: last Blockbuster of the season. Two nominees from here on. Barrett and Taylor sit.

Vote one, 5:47 to 5:51. Yash holds HOH and votes only on a tie. Devens: Barrett. Dee: Barrett. Melody: Taylor. Drew: Barrett. Julie: Barrett, 3–1.

At 5:53 Barrett jumps up, runs past the couch, bag, door. Hugs nobody. Tells them not to trust Chuk. His sentence. With Julie: F2 would have been Drew, 100%, and he would have cooked him. Putting the Icons up was worth it — he would not have been proud riding their coattails.

Second half: Melody stacks it, Devens keeps it. At 6:01 Julie tells the remaining six it is a double and sends them to the backyard.

HOH, 6:07 to 6:17. Bleeping Through Time — seven true/false clips. Melody wins. Blockbuster and HOH in the same hour.

Noms, 6:20 to 6:22. Before Julie calls them: Yash, Melody, Taylor, and Drew huddled in the bathroom. Dee and Devens alone in the living room. Picture, not a speech. Melody names Devens and Dee.

Veto, 6:27 to 6:34. Great Ball of China. All six play. Puzzle, then a ball in a bin. At 6:29 Devens finishes first, rolls, rings in. At 6:34: Devens wins.

Ceremony, 6:37 to 6:38. Taylor and Melody run to the back. Melody: she has to put Yash up. Her sentence. Julie gets stern about the delay — now; don't piss off a latina; don't piss off a tiger mom. Devens to Dee: he already used the veto on her once this season, and he's keeping this one. Then he uses it on himself. Melody names Yash next to Dee.

Vote two, 6:42 to 6:45. Melody does not vote. Devens: Yash. Taylor: Dee. Drew: Yash. Yash, 2–1. He hugs on the way out.

Julie, then the feeds. Yash knew Drew was the swing and not someone he could count on. Calculated delay: win comps too early, leave early. He's rooting for Taylor, Devens, and Dee. Icons get props for a "black magic social game." Skullet: he didn't invent it; he hopes he popularized it. James Gunn walks on — rooting for Taylor, Dee is killing it, friends with Devens — texture, not a result.

Show closes at 6:59. At 7:01 Julie sends it into the house. At 7:05, BIG BROTHER. At 7:08, feeds return: Drew and Melody whispering in the main bathroom. A picture. Moving on.
