I know a lot of people are mad at Yash rn for keeping Dee and winning hoh , and saying he’s cooked for the double elim now But, the reality is he was always going to be the target after this week no matter what. Do I agree with taking out Dee over Angela ? No. At this stage of the game you should be aiming at the biggest threat left. But I also disagree with people acting like Yash is suddenly “cooked” because of this vote. brother… I think, he was cooked regardless lmao. Like let’s say Yash and Taylor followed through and eliminated Dee this round, FAP prob realizes immediately that Angela and Devens don’t like each other. That would leave Taylor and Yash as the strongest duo outside of them, plus Yash would still be the second‑biggest jury threat. And yeah, you could argue Angela might’ve flipped to Tash because FAP is the biggest group left in the game or maybe Barrett and Melody stay true to their word of eliminating all the icons first, but 1. Angela is a wildcard, I don’t even think she knows what she would’ve done, esp since she clearly doesn’t like Taylor. and 2. FAP would atleast have the common sense to target the other big jury threat left in the game besides Devens… right? And speaking of FAP, they didn’t help themselves at all with this vote. Barrett and Melody did nothing to secure Tash’s trust even though it was obvious Tash weren’t fully locked in with the plan. People keep saying “It’s common knowledge to take out a Survivor player this round,” but it’s also common knowledge Tash doesn’t trust nor like Drew, and Drew doesn’t either, esp since he was still planning to target them over the Icons if he won HOH the following week. Instead of offering Tash a final four deal or one of them a final 2 deal, Barrett and Melody just didn’t even pretend Tash was above Drew in their minds, even though they should know Tash are selfish players who will absolutely make a move if they think it benefits them. Dee understood that and misted them which is exactly how she survived. From Taylor and Yash’s perspective, Barrett and Melody were always going to pick Drew over them, so why trust their “truce” at all? More than likely, Yash still has to win this week’s HOH (I’m guessing Rick was third behind Dee and Yash this comp), and he still wouldn't be able to put up any Icons. That means Taylor is still in danger, and possibly, even more now that Angela is here, because what’s stopping FAP from once again realizing that Angela is a non threat and rather they could take a indirect shot at Yash by taking out Taylor instead to make sure they all stayed in the game? I mean after all, Taylor probably would lose the blockbuster to one of them and the rest with atleast one of Devens or Angela could just send her to the jury. I get thats a scenario that can still happen but it was always a possibility going into this week. Either way, Yash would possibly go into the double eviction with no allies, no HOH possible, and only veto wins to survive no matter if he voted out Dee or Angela. He was always going to be the biggest target besides Devens, and FAP was always going to take their shot once they could. At least with Dee, he has a chance of her just overplaying and taking a swing at FAP or even Devens, because like Taylor and Yash, Dee plays for herself first and he can def use that to his advantage. Overall, I understand not liking the move, I understand hating it, I understand even thinking it will cost Yash the game as well as hand Dee the win. But being realistic, Yash was always going to need a comp run in the endgame as soon as they hit double eviction week. Unless Taylor just locks in somehow and becomes a comp beast to end the szn
