Evening Update: Angela Goes

Devens won Blockbuster. Angela went 3-2 over Dee. VTE Angela: Devens, Taylor, Yash. Drew and Melody voted Dee. Week 10 has no HOH. Double next Thursday.

Thursday night, September 10, and the show does what the show does: it takes the week's argument and turns it into a number. Rick Devens wins the Blockbuster. Angela Murray sits next to Dee Valladares. The vote goes 3–2, Julie says Angela's name, and one Icon walks out into a jury that keeps growing. Seven remain. Week 10 has no HOH, no noms, no veto, and no key in anyone's hand.

What you already have

Wednesday told you the shape of this. The house floated a save-Angela conversation, and by Wednesday morning Barrett Pfeiffer had told the camera they were not doing that. The veto sat unused. The nominations held. That's four sentences and it's the whole runway — everything after that is Thursday's problem.

Reinvent The Wheel

The Blockbuster on TV is called "Reinvent The Wheel" — lanes, collect the pieces, solve a double-sided puzzle, ring in. Dee has the floor layout going for her. Angela works one piece at a time, which is a strategy in the way that walking is a strategy. Devens rings in, Julie confirms he's safe, and Angela and Dee take the two chairs the week always had waiting for them.

The 3–2

The live show spends its early minutes letting people contradict themselves on camera, which is a public service.

At 5:16, Melody Morris tells the DR she'll look to vote out Angela. At 5:19, Angela is egging Drew Campbell to kiss Melody, and Melody notes she still has voting power and might vote Angela out. Hold that thought, because Melody votes to evict Dee. The DR said one name; the vote said the other. You don't have to explain it. You just have to notice it.

At 5:21, Dee pitches Yash Patel: loyalty, Drew and Barrett out. Yash's DR says he's lived with Dee for two months, that when Dee is feeling something it's on point, that he's reconsidering how to use his vote to work with her. Then, at 5:25, Yash and Taylor Brown are in the gym talking each other into the opposite: keeping Dee and Devens is good, shields up, versus Angela, who next to anyone sends the other person home. The gym conversation wins. Both of them vote Angela.

The tally, with Barrett as HOH not voting:

5:42 — Drew votes to evict Dee. Melody votes to evict Dee. 0–2, Angela's side.
The nominees give speeches. You don't have the text, so neither does this note.
5:48 — Devens votes to evict Angela. Taylor votes to evict Angela. 2–2.
5:49 — Yash votes to evict Angela. Julie announces it: 3–2, Angela is evicted.

So the Icon vote split its own alliance's remains: Devens votes out his fellow Icon, Taylor and Yash go with him, and the two votes to keep Angela come from FAP's Drew and Melody — which is worth saying plainly, because Barrett spent Wednesday saying they were not saving Angela, and then his final two voted like they still wanted to. FAP is still three: Drew, Barrett, Melody. Barrett naming his final two doesn't shrink an alliance; only Julie does that.

If you want a footnote from Thursday afternoon: Barrett went to Dee around 2:09 and apologized, said he should have handled the nominations better. Dee cried, told him Yash and Taylor control the game now, and they landed somewhere near friends-forever. It's a nice scene. The vote happened anyway.

The door

Angela's exit, per the feeds-adjacent record: she tells everyone they made the right decision, then stalls, then keeps talking, then yells, then cries, then finally departs. That's the sequence. Whatever she says to Julie on the couch, you don't have it, so it isn't here.

At 5:59 the show plays its outro card: next Thursday is a double eviction, and the next veto is teased as the Pressure Cooker — swords pushed against a target, not the box. That's a tease, not a result.

The blank key

Two Icons remain: Dee and Devens. The Blockbuster is done, the vote is done, the door is done. Thursday is fully written for this week.

Next week isn't. There's no Week 10 HOH, no nominations, no veto, no have-nots — the feeds haven't handed anyone a new key, and this note isn't going to hand one out either. What you know is the number Julie said, the three names on one side of it, the two on the other, and a Thursday coming that will do all of this twice in one night.

Nobody has the key yet. Somebody's about to.
