The BB28 Premiere Week Watch Plan
Premiere week now has official structure: the Broveal cast livestream on Tuesday, July 7, the 90-minute premiere on Thursday, July 9, Unlocked and live feeds on Friday, July 10, and another 90-minute episode on Sunday, July 12. Here is the updated watch plan and what PocketBB should log first.

Start here first: BB28 Season Preview is the broader preseason guide. For the new cast reveal receipt, read The BB28 Cast Reveal Is a Broveal Now.
Premiere week finally has a real shape. The calendar is no longer a mix of confirmed dates and educated guesses. CBS has now put the cast reveal, premiere, Unlocked, and live feeds into a usable sequence.
That is the good news. The other news is that the cast reveal is called Big Brother: Broveal, which sounds like a word the house would invent during week-one have-not sleep deprivation. But the name is attached to a useful official receipt, so into the ledger it goes.
The updated premiere-week calendar
Here is the current plan in order:
- Tuesday, July 7 at 12 PM ET / 9 AM PT: Big Brother: Broveal streams on the official Big Brother YouTube channel, with Julie Chen Moonves introducing the new Houseguests and showing more of the Time Trip house.
- Thursday, July 9 at 8 PM ET/PT: BB28 premieres on CBS with a 90-minute episode.
- Friday, July 10 at 8 PM ET/PT: Big Brother: Unlocked premieres with Jerry O'Connell, Taylor Hale, and Derrick Levasseur on the panel.
- Friday, July 10 at 9 PM ET / 6 PM PT: 24/7 live feeds launch on Paramount+ and Pluto TV. YouTube also gets limited live-feed windows after episodes throughout the season.
- Sunday, July 12 at 8 PM ET/PT: The second main-series episode airs as another 90-minute installment.
After premiere week, CBS says the season settles into Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 8 PM ET/PT, with Wednesdays running 90 minutes and Thursdays carrying live evictions.
What changed since the first watch plan
Three big pending items have moved into the confirmed column.
First, the cast reveal has a time and platform: YouTube, July 7, noon ET. That is the moment the cast board can start moving from placeholder to official records.
Second, the live feeds have a launch time. They do not start right after the July 9 premiere. They open the next night, after Unlocked, at 9 PM ET on July 10.
Third, Unlocked has its panel. Jerry O'Connell joins returning winners Taylor Hale and Derrick Levasseur, with the aftershow also getting a live studio audience.
What still belongs in the watch column
The cast names are about to become official, but the format may not be fully solved by the Broveal. Entertainment Weekly points out that Julie Chen Moonves has hinted at familiar reality-show faces, and recent seasons have sometimes saved familiar-face reveals for the premiere itself. So if the YouTube event gives us a clean cast list, great. If it leaves a door open, we should keep that door labeled as open rather than filling it with rumor.
The same goes for the Time Trip mechanics. CBS has confirmed the theme, the house language, and the promise of powers and challenges. The exact game rules still need on-screen receipts.
What PocketBB should track first
Once the Broveal hits, the first workflow is straightforward:
- Add official houseguest names and photos to the BB28 cast board.
- Keep rumored or teased additions out of confirmed cast status until CBS puts them in the game.
- Use the timeline to separate the official reveal from the social reaction wave.
- Mark live-feed launch as July 10 at 9 PM ET and watch for the first power/cast state events after feeds open.
- Treat any Time Trip object, clock, room, or relic as a signal only after the show explains what it does.
The short version
Tuesday is cast reveal day. Thursday is premiere night. Friday is Unlocked plus feeds. Sunday is the second long episode. The season is finally moving from preseason fog into timestamped receipts, and PocketBB should move with it: official data first, reaction second, speculation clearly labeled.
