Noon Update: A Line in the Sand, Then a Bathroom Panic

An overnight keep-Jason current began drawing a line against Kamu, but Angela’s information leak put Drew’s middle game under fresh suspicion. Mallory spent Tuesday morning trying to turn the crack into votes.

Nothing changed on the board overnight. Everything changed in the whisper economy. Between Monday evening and the early Tuesday hours, a possible voting side started to take shape around the idea of keeping Jason — conditionally, hypothetically, if-the-Blockbuster-breaks-right — while Angela and Dee zeroed in on Drew's everywhere-at-once positioning, and Angela promptly talked herself into a 1:45 AM crisis of her own making. Let's get into it.

One framing note before the drama: every "keep Jason" or "keep Mallory" conversation below is a conditional preference about a possible final-two matchup. No vote is settled, because the matchup itself doesn't exist yet.

Monday Night: The Keep-Jason Current Builds

At 8:41 PM, Melody, Barrett, Mallory, Yash, and Lyric kicked around the idea of keeping Jason over Lala, and Barrett later carried that conversation to Dee. By 9:40 PM, Yash was saying he leaned toward keeping Jason even though it would burn Kamu, and a minute later he called the move drawing a line in the sand. Notably, Yash and Barrett agreed on one piece of operational security: don't tell Devens.

At 10:07 PM, Melody, Mallory, Lyric, and Yash talked through the same line-in-the-sand play and settled on a sequencing plan — Melody would talk to Drew first.

Jason, for his part, auditioned for the role enthusiastically. At 11:02 PM he said he was coming after Kamu, Chuk, and Haley before the Icons, and at 11:07 PM he added that he'd keep Mallory over Lala. Melody's 11:35 PM read summed up the whole enterprise: she doesn't fully trust Jason, but she's willing to keep him. That's not an alliance. That's a group of people circling the same idea and checking each other's faces.

Meanwhile: Angela and Dee Clock Drew — Then Angela Clocks Herself

While the keep-Jason current gathered, Angela and Dee were running their own threat assessment. At 11:10 PM, Dee bristled at a Barrett joke that made the two of them look close, and Angela floated her theory that Kamu and Drew have a final two — adding that Kamu, Chuk, and Haley should be doing their dirty work. The two agreed Drew and Barrett could cut them, and Angela admitted she'd been stroking Kamu's ego to stay in good standing.

Then Drew walked in and, at 12:34 AM, gave them a remarkably candid map of the house: Haley wants Lala out, Barrett wants Mallory saved, and Drew thinks he and Barrett might be able to redirect Mallory toward targeting the red-corner group instead of the Icons. He also told Angela and Dee that Yash and Melody were discussing keeping Jason — a move Drew opposes. So much for Yash and Barrett's information discipline; the plan was already leaking sideways within hours.

Here's where Angela became the night's comic centerpiece. At 1:08 AM, she relayed to Kamu that Drew said he'd take out the red corner. Kamu, at 1:18 AM, said he'd be paying close attention to Drew and was surprised Drew was defending Mallory. Mission accomplished — except that by 1:45 AM, Angela realized she may have passed too much information and hurt her own game in the process. Dee's advice: deny everything. Angela then rushed to Devens in the bathroom to coach him — if Drew or Barrett ever exposes any crossover alliance, deny it exists. There is something beautifully Big Brother about sabotaging yourself at 1 AM and drafting your denial strategy by 1:45.

Tuesday Morning: Drew's Sleep-On-It Problem and Mallory's Campaign

The overnight seeds sprouted by late morning. At 11:15 AM, Kamu told Haley and Devens that he woke up realizing Drew might never win an HOH — because Drew is with everyone. Haley grouped Drew, Melody, Barrett, and Mallory together in her own read. Drew's middle-of-the-house positioning, which looked like flexibility on Monday, is starting to look like a target on Tuesday.

At 11:31 AM, Angela laid out her eviction preference plainly: she hopes Jason goes, because he's smart, athletic, and could nominate her and Haley. That puts her directly crosswise with the emerging keep-Jason side.

And from 11:47 AM to 12:04 PM, Mallory did the work, campaigning to Dee. Her pitch: she wouldn't nominate Dee, wants to work with her, and believes she could have Drew, Melody, Barrett, Dee, and Angela behind her. Dee said she wants Mallory to stay but called the situation tricky and told her to rally votes. Mallory, to her credit, was clear-eyed about it — people see her as a threat, and none of this matters unless she wins or survives the Blockbuster first.

What Matters Next

The Blockbuster is everything. Three nominees, one safety win, and every conditional plan in this update reshuffles depending on who escapes the block. Keep-Jason math evaporates if Jason saves himself; Mallory's whole campaign is moot if she does.
Does the keep-Jason side hold once it's real? Melody's "don't fully trust him, but willing" energy is the whole side in miniature. Conditional preferences have a way of dissolving when an actual vote is in front of people.
Drew's exposure. Kamu is now watching him, Haley is grouping him with the Melody/Barrett/Mallory cluster, and Angela already leaked his red-corner comments upward. The middle of the house is a great place to stand until everyone notices you standing there.
Angela's cleanup job. She knows she overshared, Dee handed her the denial playbook, and Devens has his instructions. Whether that holds depends on Drew and Barrett — and on whether Angela can resist narrating her own game to the nearest listener.
