Morning Update: If Drew Knew
Tuesday morning the ceremony is still done and the board has not moved: Drew is HOH; LaTrice, Taylor, and Devens sit. Overnight Yash, Melody, and Barrett talked like they are further along than Drew thinks. Barrett said if Drew knew, he might not have put Devens up. Nothing is locked.

It's Tuesday morning in the house, and you already know how Monday ended: Yash pulled himself off, Devens went up, and Drew said he'd campaign to keep his own renom. That note has the ceremony and the 5:52–6:29 spine. This one has the part that happened after Drew's half of the house went quiet — the part where Barrett, Melody, and Yash compared notes, and Barrett said Drew doesn't know how far along they are.
Quick board state, once: Drew Campbell is HOH, final noms are LaTrice Verrett, Taylor Brown, and Rick Devens, Yash used the veto on himself, Haley Thogmartin is already gone this cycle, nine remain. Blockbuster and the live eviction are Thursday, September 3. Nothing on the board has moved since last night, and nothing in this note pretends otherwise.
What you already have
Four sentences of Monday evening, and then we're done re-litigating. Drew thinks Devens wins Blockbuster, and if he does, Taylor's the backup. Drew says he'll be vocal about keeping Devens, and Barrett told Drew nobody's approached him about a Devens vote. Yash's deal — house talk, not a contract we watched — keeps the three Icons off Yash's block if he wins HOH, and Melody doesn't know about it. And Dee, at 6:29, told Angela the volunteer act is stupid and this is a perfect blindside window.
The backyard, late
At 11:16 PM Yash and Drew are in the backyard doing win math. Yash has five, Drew has four, and Yash's advice is the kind that sounds like coaching and reads like management: people float by because they're the targets, get a veto, Yash will make sure Drew plays veto this time. Also: Barrett needs to win an HOH. File that.
At 11:21 Yash asks how Dee and Angela are taking the Devens renom. Drew says one is happy she didn't go up and the other is sus — Yash supplies the word "sus," Drew declines to say which is which, trust your gut. Drew repeats that he expects Devens to win Blockbuster, which is doing a lot of load-bearing work in his week.
At 11:22 Drew admits 2% of him thinks the Dapper Dans could come back. Yash: cooked. Devens is too much a game player; he got out people who trusted him.
Then Barrett rotates in. At 11:29 Drew tells him he doesn't think Yash wants Barrett winning HOH — Yash asked what Barrett would do, like Barrett isn't predictable. Barrett: the middleman. At 11:32 Drew notes Devens doesn't seem tripped out anymore. Drew: you wouldn't. Barrett: I wouldn't. Drew: that would be crazy. Read that carefully — "I wouldn't" is about being visibly rattled on the block, not a pledge about a vote. If you want a vote pledge, keep waiting.
Drew also floats: Yash thinks Devens is the target? Barrett: really?
The other conversation
Because there is another conversation, and Barrett is in that one too.
At 11:42 Barrett and Melody get sad about Mallory Aurichio, and Barrett says he hopes to change some of it this week. Melody hopes it happens. Barrett notes Devens was tripping out before, and that Dee and Angela tried to get in Drew's head about him. Melody says she keeps telling Drew that Barrett is with Devens — which is either cover or a warning, depending on which Barrett shows up Thursday.
At 12:09 AM Yash lays it flat: Devens thought he could talk Drew into nominating Melody or Barrett. Then the question of the night — does Drew know we're rocking and rolling to this extent? Barrett: no, or he might not have put up Devens.
Sit with that. The renom Drew made, the one he plans to campaign to save, exists partly because Drew doesn't know how coordinated the people around him are. That is Barrett's sentence, not ours.
At 12:14 Melody says she wouldn't nominate Drew — he spared her this week — and if Devens leaves, Drew could come back to them. She bets Drew has a final two with Devens. Yash agrees. At 12:34 Barrett says if Devens goes, Drew won't run to Dee and Angela; Yash says Drew will crawl back to us. Yash also volunteers that Melody wouldn't put Drew up but he would, and Taylor wouldn't put up Lala but he might.
At 12:52 Yash tells Melody about Devens after last week's eviction: Yash said people were sad, Devens said that's all the more reason Mallory had to go. Yash's verdict: cutthroat. Melody adds that Devens can get really mad. Then the backyard turns into cars and the moon until Drew's lights go out at 2:04 AM.
The hours Jokers missed
Jokers went quiet from about 6:40 to 11:13. Recap only: later Monday evening Dee camtalked that she prays Devens wins Blockbuster, thinks he's a goner if he doesn't, and thinks Drew and Barrett are stupid if they keep him. Same thesis as the 6:29 talk with Angela, now to camera. Angela, Dee, and Taylor also spent part of the evening trying to convince Lala the man she's been talking to for a year is catfishing her. Different show. Same house.
Tuesday, early
Feeds come back around 8:20 AM and the house is up unusually early for a Tuesday. Lala's in the kitchen. Melody yawns in around 8:51. As of 8:54 nobody in the update lane knows why production woke them. Neither do we. Do not invent a competition.
Thursday is Blockbuster and the live show. No vote is locked, no target is official, and jury is still just house talk. Barrett is currently maintaining two complete versions of himself — one for Drew's backyard, one for the sad-about-Mallory room. Thursday, one of them has to vote.
