But this is a Blockbuster week, and the Blockbuster doesn't care about consensus. Three nominees—Jason De Puy, Melody Morris, and Rome—play the competition, one saves themselves, and only the remaining two face the vote. Rome could take the whole conversation off the table with one good performance. And if he does, the house's tidy Tuesday agreement collapses into a genuinely contested Jason-versus-Melody decision. The headline is conditional by design. The house wants Rome gone; the Blockbuster gets first say.

How Rome Became the Vote

If you read this morning's update, you know Rome and Lyric's alleged fake-breakup cover story was already on life support. That matters because Lyric is the one unambiguous vote Rome has. At 3:46 PM she told him directly she would never vote against him, and a minute later claimed she had secured LaTrice and Taylor to keep him over Melody. Log that as Lyric's claim, not a confirmed count—because roughly twenty minutes earlier, LaTrice was in a different room saying she had no alliance with Rome, while Angela summed up the house mood in one line: everyone likes him, but he has to go. Dee added the strategic justification, calling Rome highly likely to win the game if left alone.

Taylor, for her part, spent the early afternoon quietly stress-testing Lyric's loyalty. At 2:19 PM she asked Lyric whether keeping Rome was actually good for her—whether he puts Lyric in more danger than he prevents. Underneath the vote math, Tuesday produced two new named alliances, which is always worth logging even before we know if either one is real.

At 3:22 PM, LaTrice declared that she, Dee, Angela, and Taylor were the best foursome in the house and named the group the Honor Society. Two guys with a nickname and diverging target lists is not yet a power alliance, but it's a real final two, and those tend to matter later.

The Rogue-Vote Proposal

The sharpest strategic beat of the day came at 2:42 PM, when Drew told Barrett he wanted to cast two votes for Jason to stay over Rome—and pin those votes on Kamu.

To be precise: this is a discussed scheme, not an accomplished act. No votes have been cast; the eviction hasn't happened. But the proposal tells you a lot about where the Jugglers think they sit. Two rogue votes blamed on a third party is a classic middle-position play—it manufactures paranoia between the house's blocs while keeping Drew and Barrett's hands publicly clean. It keeps a potential Jason relationship warm without defying the house on the record, and it turns Kamu into a lightning rod for free. It's also risky in exactly the way these schemes always are: rogue votes have a long Big Brother history of getting traced back to their authors, and a duo casting matching mystery votes is not hard math for a suspicious house.

Whether they actually pull the trigger Thursday—assuming Rome is even still on the block—is the thing to watch.
