When we left the house at 4:45 PM Tuesday, three nominees were sitting on the block — Drew Campbell, Melody Morris, and Lyric Medeiros — and the plan was still, charitably, "vibes." Twenty-five hours of feeds later, the picture has sharpened considerably, and it's not the picture anyone would have drawn a week ago. The house isn't really deciding between three people anymore. It's deciding between two: Drew and Melody, the showmance-adjacent pair the power players have quietly reframed as a single problem with two heads. Lyric — nominated three weeks running — has somehow become the protected branch of the decision tree.

Let's be precise, because this house changes its mind like it changes pizza toppings (more on the pizza later): nothing is locked. Thursday's Blockbuster still pulls one nominee off the block before the live vote, and no eviction outcome is confirmed. But by Wednesday afternoon, the clearest plan in circulation from the Haley/Kamu/Chuk orbit went like this: Lyric stays, Melody is target A, and if Melody wins the Blockbuster, Drew slides into the crosshairs as target B. That's a plan, not a result. Here's how they got there.

Tuesday night: the keep-Drew counterplan sprouts

Daylight brought clarity — at least, the house's version of it. At 12:54 PM, Lala told Melody things were changing, and Melody couldn't get a straight answer about whether Lyric goes if Drew wins the Blockbuster. That non-answer was the tell.

Between 1:13 and 1:25 PM, Yash and Chuk worked to keep Lyric, and Chuk, Kamu, and Haley settled on the framework that now defines the week: split Drew and Melody.
